More information about physiotherapy here
At our Healthy Pets Centre, we’re delighted to offer a specialised physiotherapy programme.
Our fantastic physiotherapist Nicole is a member of the International Association of Animal Therapists and is highly trained in her field, having graduated from The College of Animal Physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy seeks to relieve pain as well as improving muscle strength, mobility and a pet’s general quality of life.
There are many conditions that physiotherapy can help alleviate, which include:
All treatments are individually tailored to each pet following a thorough examination with Nicole. Some of the treatments may include:
With continually advancing veterinary medicine and surgical techniques, pets are now living longer and leading healthier lives. Aftercare and rehabilitation is more important now than ever which is where physiotherapy can play an essential role.
If your pet has recently undergone surgery, then physiotherapy may be a great option to help the recovery process. We’d always recommend the sooner the better with any kind of physiotherapy for the best results, this may even include a consultation pre-op to help your pet get familiar with our nurse and the surroundings.
If you’re committed to giving your pet the best quality of life, then Healthy Pets is here to help. For more information on our services, email physiotherapy@inglisvets.com or give us a call on 01383 734 380.
